Ayer estuvimos repasando el "Present continuous" hoy  vamos a trabajar el "Past continuos". Para trabajar esta estructura te propongo:

1. Escuchar los siguientes audios:

 Past progressive/continuous

 audio using Past continuos or progressive tense

What were you doing?

 Ir a la página 123 del pupil´s book y leer el primer cuadro titulado "Past  continuous".
Después  lee el texto de la pagina 46 del pupil´s book, encontrarás muchos ejemplos de "Past Continuous", subráyalos. También te encontrarás con palabras nuevas como jungle, tyre, to burst, to repair, to fetch. A continuación tienes su significado añádelas a tu "picture dictionary"



Jungle: a tropical forest in which trees and plants grow very closely together.

Example: The Amazon jungle is considered the lungs of the planet.








Tyre: a thick rubber ring, often filled with air, that is fitted around the outer edge of the wheel of a vehicle, allowing the vehicle to stick to the road surface and to travel over the ground

Example: My car needs some better tyres because I heard that it is going to snow all week.








To burst: the action when something breaks open or falls apart suddenly

Example: The large bubble burst when it hit into the wall.





To repair: to put something that is damaged, broken, or not working correctly, back into good condition or make it work again.

Example: I’m going into the town center because I need someone to repair my car, the tires
are starting to get old.









Fetch: to go to another place to get something or someone and bring it, him, or her back.

Example: My dog likes to fetch tennis balls when we go to the lake.








Para practicar el pasado continuo coge el activity book  página 47 y haz el ejercicio nº !.
